This privacy notice applies to the personal data collected by PERLE D’ AZUR (hereinafter “We”, “our” etc. as applicable), an enterprise seated in Athens, Greece ,26 Agiou Ioannou str,Voula. VAT nbr 102241365, through our website(collectively the “Website”) or through PERLE D’ AZUR pages on social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, et al. (“Social Media Pages”)or through our financial department’s and customers’ communication services, including, indicatively and non-exclusively, any communication by post, email, fax, telecommunications’ messaging, or through our stores (collectively the “Stores”)

Stores include(a) the electronic shop, by the operation of which merchandise may be ordered and purchased without any physical presence of you, (b) any physical store, where our products are sold in a separate , clearly defined, space either within a department store (“shop-in-a-shop”) or within premises solely used by Perle d’ Azur (“physical store”).

Please note that (a) in the case of a ‘shop-in-a-shop’ , data are also collected the department store, which issues the transaction bill and receipt to you, (b) our Website is hosted by “Shopify Inc” platform and data are collected by “Shopify Inc.” as well, (b) Operators of social media sites also collect data. Please refer to all privacy terms and conditions of aforementioned collectors of data.

We provide this Privacy Notice, as a data controller, describing for what purposes we use that personal data, who we will share this personal data with and your rights in relation to the personal data we collect from you.

General browsing

We process navigational information about your browsing preferences on our Websites. This information allows us to see which areas of our Website are most visited and helps us improve the quality of your online experience by recognizing and delivering more of the most desired features and services. Additional information, for example domain type, browser version, or service provider may also be processed by us, which will provide us with information regarding the general use of our Website. We process this information because it is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and improving our Website. The aforementioned information is also shared and collected by the host of our e-shop, perledazur.com.

What is personal data

This notice applies to the personal data( which include any information that relates to an identified individual such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, month and day of birth, IP Address, billing and account information) that we collect, use and, under certain conditions and cautionary measures, disclose (namely, collectively) process. Please note that certain parts of your personal data, when not used in conjunction to other parts, may not enable us to identify you.

Information collected on our website, on our social media services , in our physical stores.

Location information

Our Website provide features, such as a store locator service if you have enabled the location-based services on your mobile devices. The features on our Website that require information about your location may make use of the GPS information on your mobile device. Sometimes we use other information (such as your IP address or nearby wireless access points or cell phone tower locations) to roughly estimate your location in order to provide you the features based on your location. If you use one of the features on our Website that require your exact location, we will collect and process your location data for this purpose. If you do not consent to or disable location-based services we may ask you to select manually the region where you are located, or enter your postal code to find a nearby store; if you choose not to provide this information some features may not be available.

Sign Up for Marketing Email List

If you sign up for our marketing email list (i.e., ‘Subscribe’), you will be asked to provide your email address and your consent to the processing of your personal data in order to send you marketing emails, cart abandonment emails (emails that are triggered when you place items into your bag and leave our Website before checking out), and product view emails (emails that are triggered if you search and/or view a specific type of product on our Website and leave before checking out). Signing up for our mailing list enables you to receive information about products that we provide via email. If you wish to unsubscribe, then please visit the “Opt-Out” section of this Privacy Notice or follow the opt-out instructions on any marketing email you receive from us.

Creating a Membership

You may be given the opportunity to create an account and become a member of PERLE D’ AZUR. This membership allows you to enjoy a more personalized experience, create an address book called ‘’My Saves List’’, and enjoy “quick checkouts” by allowing us to automatically enter your billing address and preferred shipping information. It may also give you additional benefits, such as rewards by collecting points etc. Creating an account requires you to enter your email address, first and last name, and to create a password, and allows you to provide your postal address, telephone number, birthday, gender. When you create a membership, you will receive a welcome email that will be delivered to the email address you inserted into the email field during the registration process. We process personal data for these purposes because it is necessary for our legitimate interests and this can provide functionality to our customers.

To have your membership cancelled, use the Contact Us section of the Help page. Please include the email address of the membership you wish to cancel.

Purchasing Merchandise Through our Website

If you purchase merchandise through our Website, we will process your personal data for this purpose (i.e., name, billing and shipping address information, email address, telephone number, and payment card information), as well as information about your purchases on our Websites, which we may combine with any of your Physical Store purchase information. In addition, if you have created an account and have become a member, you will be able to view your order details when you log into your membership. We process personal data for these purposes because it is necessary to perform a contract with you and for our legitimate interest in managing and operating our business.

Please note that the payment service provider, which you may use for your payment option at checkout, will be a data controller in relation to personal data it collects from our checkout page to determine whether it will allow you to use it as a payment method. How the separate payment service provider uses and shares the personal data it collects, is controlled by its own privacy policy. You should take into account the payment service provider’s terms and conditions as well.

You may also receive non-marketing emails from us, such as order confirmation emails, shipping confirmation emails, and transactional emails.

We do not sell, or grant rights to third parties to process your email address for their own marketing purposes.

Please be aware that we may appoint third parties to provide services to us or on our behalf, such as fulfilling orders (including, but not limited to, processing payments, providing fraud prevention services, and verifying addresses), providing electronic online information, monitoring and analyzing site activity and the effectiveness of our advertising, providing support services, conducting credit reference checks, serving site content (including a site search feature), organizing information, conducting surveys, administering and sending mobile notifications and email messages, offering interactive features, assisting us with our Social Media Pages, evaluating potential models. Regarding our e-shop, this is hosted by www.shopify.com. As a result, the relevant policy terms and privacy notices apply.

Regarding personal data collected by the social media sites, this Privacy Notice does not cover the privacy and security practices of the social media sites on which PERLE D’ AZUR has Social Media Pages. Please review privacy policies and terms of service on the social media sites.

This allows us to understand and analyze effectively our user growth, general demographic information about the users of our Social Media Pages, and interaction with content on our Social Media Pages. We are not liable for business losses. Our merchandise is for private use, as such, we have no liability if you use the merchandise for commercial or business purposes. If you use the merchandise for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose, we will have no liability to you or to any other third party for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
We are not responsible for any uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free use of the services of our Store.

We, our administrators, as well our staff and any third parties cooperating with us, shall not be held liable for any loss or damage, either financial or other, incurred by you or any third party from illegal use or misuse of the website, of Shopify or of our Store by other users or customers in breach of the present Terms or the current legislation.
